STORY:
For this style of mirrors, the Sun King brought some master glassmakers from Murano to his court, starting a new school.
The Murano glass used for these mirrors is famous for its exceptional clarity and purity, which enhances their luxurious appeal. These Venetian mirrors are not just reflective surfaces-they are timeless pieces of history, adding a touch of Venetian sophistication and vintage charm to any decor.

In the sixteenth-century Andrea and Domenico d’Angelo were the first to introduce to Murano glassmaking technique in making mirrors and made it a Venetian speciality. Murano mirrors became very popular reaching their peak in this period and embellished with frames decorated with glass motifs. In the seventeenth century, the mirrors themselves began to be engraved with floral, heraldic, allegorical, or mythological motifs. This was the birth of the classic Venetian mirror, an article that would go on to grace noble buildings all over the world.

All mirrors are made-to-order and handmade in Venice, Italy, with an estimated lead time of 60 days. Designed and crafted by a Maestro Vetraio (Master Glassmaker) with decades of experience.
Please note that every mirror is 100% handmade, every piece purchased can show a slight variation in color and style. The goal is to always create what is shown in photographs as closely as possible.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Once your order is placed and payment is received, orders are generally processed/confirmed within 72 hours (production begins after confirmation).
Worldwide Delivery

Because glass is fragile, shipping insurance for transport damage is included.

RETURN POLICY:
